VM-00Hijab sourcing desk
Hijabs sourced fabric first
Veilmere is a sourcing desk for modest-fashion brands, retailers and uniform programs. Pick the fabric, the style and a quantity per color; we route the program to a verified partner workshop in the Yiwu scarf cluster, sample it, and confirm every figure in writing.
Stretch, opacity and drape are relative to the other fabrics on the rack, not test values. Each fabric is confirmed on the spec sheet with weight and composition.

How a program moves
- Brief. Style, fabric, sizes, colors or artwork, quantity per color, labels and packaging.
- Match. The desk routes the brief to a partner workshop that already runs that fabric and finish.
- Sample. Lab dips or print strike-offs, then a sewn sample in the agreed edge finish.
- Confirm. Spec sheet, MOQ, lead time and test plan in writing before bulk.
- Bulk and check. Inspection against the approved sample, labels checked, cartons packed for your channel.
03
Labels and safety, handled as paperwork
A hijab imported into the United States is a textile product with paperwork attached: fiber content and country of origin labels, care instructions, and for sheer or light fabrics, the clothing flammability standard. Children's styles and magnets bring their own checks. The desk builds these into the spec sheet instead of finding out at the port. Read compliance for hijab importers.
04
Who buys through the desk
Modest-fashion brands building a range under their own label. Private label
Boutiques and online stores restocking core colors. Wholesale
Schools, clubs and workplaces adding hijab options to a uniform. Uniform programs
Designers with artwork who want their prints on modal or chiffon. Custom prints

Garments and terms, explained plainly
Buyers new to the category ask the same questions their customers ask. We keep neutral, practical guides to the garments and the words used for them, because a product page that explains a niqab or an al-amira clearly sells better than one that guesses. Start with hijab, niqab and burqa differences.
